How I wear jewellery: Sunday style..

There's something about Sundays.. Notorious for being a lazy day I always like to keep it simple. Despite never making any big plans, me and the Mr often find ourselves mooching about somewhere or other, stopping off for coffee and cake every now and then. I know, we're so rock and roll these days..

This Sunday, just like our plans, I tried to keep it simple in the style stakes too. Throwing on skinnies, my Nike Air Max and another sale bargain from Topshop I decided to keep my jewellery understated for the perfect Sunday mooch.

Rings - Topshop, Urban Outfitters, Dixi and market stall
Bracelet - eBay
Nails - Barry M (Matt White)

I picked up this vintage stone ring from Urban Outfitters. If I'm honest, I'm not a massive fan of their jewellery.. Sure, it all looks great but the pieces I've had usually tarnish pretty quickly or I can find similar items at half the price on eBay. On Saturday I decided to throw caution to the wind and try their rings out again. I'm sure I'll let you know if it was worth it..

Jewellery is going Tibetan crazy at the moment.. Although not everyone realises it. Have a look at some of your favourite online jewellery shops and you'll be able to see the Tibetan influence. Traditionally worn by both Tibetan men and women, the rings, charms and amulet designs can be decorative as well as having deeper meanings often alluding to prayer, Buddhism or a sacred relic. Try searching 'Tibetan Jewellery' on eBay and you'll find a whole lot of amazing pieces. (Which is exactly how I found my bracelet..)

You're welcome..

I also kept it straightforward with the nail varnish too. Usually by Sunday my nails aren't looking as fresh as they did at the start of the week. A quick coat of white leaves them looking chic and also prepares them for whatever it is I plan to attempt as a nail art novice on Sunday night..

Necklace - Topshop

I paired my eclectic ring collection with this stunningly simple necklace. It's a great alternative to the collar necklaces that were popular a while ago. I never really got away with them as I always preferred a real life collar as opposed to one on a necklace. This makes a bit of a change for me as I usually wear three or four necklaces of varying lengths at once.. For today though, one worked pretty perfectly.

How do you style your Sundays?
