EXTRa rum time, please..

So I've known for a while that today required a bit of a quick turn around. I had a meeting for work in the afternoon and out for drinks in the evening.. With an unknown amount of time in between. Unable to function when I'm rushed I decided to go for an outfit that can be easily transformed from day to night, with room for a cheeky rum and coke inbetween..

 Day
Blazer - River Island
Tshirt - Topshop
Skirt - Miss Selfridge
Boots - Vintage
Bracelet - H&M

Night
Top, bracelets and necklace - Charity shop

I LOVE this skirt. During the day it was the perfect alternative to my skinnies and meant I wasn't too formal or too casual for my meeting. Then add a pair of heels and it creates an amazing silhouette for a night time look. What about the top? It has to be my all time favourite charity shop find. Excuse the creases.. I don't iron.

Still don't know if I'm completely sold on the shoes though. I nearly broke my neck 10 times before I'd even left the house.. Can I pull them off?

Now I've made the quick change I'm off to enjoy more of these.. And yes, I did manage to sneak in a rum and coke before I left. Might help with the shoes.. Happy Friday !!

Just to let you know, there's still been no new purchases. All of these items were in my wardrobe before MATERial March began. Woop.

  1. You can definitely pull off the shoes! But can you walk in them? That's the deal breaker for me. I'm not one for shoes I can't actually wear, although I am rather good at it (if I do say so myself!). Hope the rum made the pain bearable ;)
