I don't know about you, but that was one busy summer we just had ...

For me it was all about cramming in as much as possible every weekend. That included camping trips to Skelwith Fold in Ambleside, Dunstan in Northumberland and Dunbar in East Lothian. Oh, and not forgetting a quick city break to York.

Over the summer I saw Public Service Broadcasting at Cumbria's newest music festival, Northbound (you can read my review here  - now that was two days at work I didn't complain about), visited Northumberland again (it's my favourite place) and even popped over to Cannes for a weekend.

You know I tried stand up paddle boarding too, right?

In September there was one last summer camping trip to Kielder, a weekend in Bristol, so many books and to finish the month a trip to Portugal (where I'm desperately hoping Google doesn't translate this blog post into something unreadable).

Not bad, right?

Coming up on the blog I'll be encouraging all you read the The First Bad Man by Miranda July, letting you know if minerals are actually any good for your skin and why you should put down your phone and pick up an actual map.

Autumn is going to be good. I can already tell.
