OOTD | What I'm wearing now

Have you ever had a piece of clothing that makes you think - this is exactly me.

I'll be first person to admit that I completely fell off the minimal wardrobe bandwagon last year.

Despite the best of intentions, with a whole load of extra wardrobe space I found it difficult to resist pieces that caught my eye rather than stick to the rules of how I wanted to dress.

December rolled around in a haze of sparkles and sequins and Christmas party dresses, and even though I'm not a fan of any of those things, I succumbed to hasty ill-thought out purchases - some of which are still looming in my wardrobe with guilt-ridden tags intact.

It all changed when I was lucky enough to receive this amazingly oversized Pull & Bear scarf for Christmas. And I don't think I've been spotted without it since.

It's an awesome texture, the perfect combination of colours and it actually keeps me warm. No pain, no gain? No thanks. Let's keep toasty and look trendy all at the same time.

So when I'm looking for style resolutions worth sticking to it's this - quality over quantity for 2015.

Oh, and expect to spot this scarf on the blog  a few more times too.

  4. I can totally relate to this post..
I tell myself every year that I wanted to be chic and sophisticated, VB style, I'm 30 not 16, yet, I'm just drawn to prints and items of clothing that I tell myself I'll wear and like a week later, but I don't. Or the pull of Primark..
I definitely need to think quality over quantity and sort myself out!!!
Love the scarf though.. Don't think I'd take it off either. :)
